Sana Moussa - Classical Palestinian and Arab Repertoire

Sana Moussa - Classical Palestinian and Arab Repertoire

Hawajess (haunting, invasive thoughts) is a new musical performance by the Palestinian singer Sana Moussa, who invites us to a trip through divers classical Arab musical styles, such as the Palestinian traditional chanson and the muwashshah or the monologue.

The concert also includes pieces of the Palestinian musical heritage, notably forms of masculine songs characterized sometimes by their lightness (love songs) sometimes by their wiseness and poise (Essamir style).

Originally from Palestine, Sana Moussa grew up in a family of musicians.
